Biography of Joe Moon

Joe graduated from the University of Georgia and has lived in the Athens/ Atlanta area his entire life.  Joe brings many years of relevant experience in business, investment, entrepreneurship as well as serving on nonprofit boards to the team. In the past 20 years, Joe has had great success with several various business ventures in fields including technology, consulting, and real estate. Joe is the founder of Velocity Technology Partners, and is a co-founder of Athens Capital Partners, Skytale, Inc and Accelerate Commercial and Business. He is also an active investor in both business and commercial real estate. Joe was the past chairman of the board of ESP and currently serves on the board of the United Way. Joe also teaches a financial/ life skills class for the Palm house, a local non profit that works with people recovering from chemical addictions.  When he’s not hard at work, Joe enjoys hiking, fishing, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
